In Washington state there is a very close race for the upcoming elections. Dino Rossi and Patty Murray are both running for Senate. This is an extremely close race but polls say that Murray has the lead, but only by a few points. "Among the larger sampling of registered voters, Murray holds a narrower 48 to 44 percent margin over Rossi" (CNN). This race is very close and cannot determine who the voters are going to elect just by polling people. There is a small margin of registered voters in which people are undecided or independent. Many believe that this now a race of gender since "Murray has a two-to-one lead among women, while Rossi has a 15-point lead among men" (CNN). This is a very good race because there are almost equally as many democrats and republicans voting for who they believe should win this election.

ELECTION RESULTS!
As of right now, there is not a definite winner. The voters in Washinton state mail in their ballots and therefore, it may take a while to get them counted. As of right now, Patty Murray is slightly in the lead.
